Marauder is a MechWarrior inspired, Intel based scratch build with a custom Arduino electronics package. Three Arduino microcontrollers run two information panels and an automatic dusting system. The frame and skin consist of hand cut and welded steel, bondo, and 3d printed components. Several buttons and “missile switches” give the case an analog “cockpit” vibe. The information screens display hardware temperature data, atmospheric conditions, and CO levels. The dusting system has several built in safeties that prevent activation while the system is running. Once fired, the dusting system sprays key components with several short bursts of compressed air while simultaneously disabling the systems power switch. Once complete, the system waits 60 seconds before allowing the computer to be powered up. Marauders paint job is a high gloss white with a hand drawn Marauder and an Atlas skull and crossbones. The front of the case also features a hot swappable 2tb hard drive. Internal lighting consists of RBG led strips that are controlled by potentiometers on the back of the case. Marauder was designed in Fusion 360. The electronics were programmed in the Arduino IDE and D4systems visi genie software. Hardware specs are as follows:
